Meet the Team

at Elfins

Pippa Butterfield:

‘I love Woodcraft: its ethos, principles and community. I grew up as a member, met my husband there and have been running a group since leaving university. I really enjoy outdoor activities e.g. swimming at the open air pool, cycling, walking, camping and mixing with people of all different ages. Woodcraft is open to all, irrespective of creed, colour, age, religion. It is a very warm, welcoming environment. I think of it as my second family.’

David Lemon:

Woodcraft is a huge part of my life having met my wonderful wife there then sending each of my own children into the Woodcraft life. I love to run and get stuck into outdoor activities of all shapes and sizes with our elfins, from games and picnics in the park to bat walks and shelter building. This even overlaps into my professional life in which I used to work at the shot tower in Crane park. All together I love the inclusivity of Woodcraft and the wonderful community it creates, as a result I have been running the elfin group since I left university alongside my wife.
