Be a part of Something -Teddington Woodcraft Folk
The Woodcraft Folk is a UK based educational movement for children and young people or put more eloquently “We are a movement for children and young people, open to everyone from birth to adult. Woodcraft Folk offers a place where children will grow in confidence, learn about the world and start to understand how to value our planet and each other.” - Central Woodcraft Folk.
At its core The Woodcraft Folk is a co-operative organisation strongly focused on equality for all and educating young people on social change to achieve our aims and principles. We work to ensure that young people's voices are heard and listened to, while supporting the same people to build a more equal, peaceful and fairer world.
Every week thousands of volunteers and young people meet in school halls, community venues and a host of other places. There they learn about big ideas through fun activities like singing, camping, playing and debating.
